At Clean Energy Sweden, we are not just a business; we are dedicated to reshaping the energy landscape for a more sustainable future. We believe in the potential of renewable energy to transform the way we power our lives.
We believe that clean renewable energy is an important part of the work to reach the climate goals and that solar and wind energy can contribute to a future where energy production has less climate impact and produces lower carbon dioxide emissions. Through our vision that energy should be produced where it is needed and consumed, we want to contribute to a positive impact on the business climate, create more jobs and show that large-scale renewable energy production can be carried out everywhere.
We work together with local companies, entrepreneurs and landowners to increase the amount of renewables from solar and wind produced in the region. The county board in Jönköping County has a vision to produce more energy than is consumed by 2045 at the latest, and the goal is that we in Sweden should have an annual production of solar electricity of at least 10%.
Today, the annual production of electricity in Sweden from solar energy is about 1% and wind power about 20%, together we can and must make a difference. Many companies that work with solar parks and wind farms are speculative, they make money by signing land contracts and establishing parks that are then sold. We work differently, our business concept is based on establishing parks with the goal of running them throughout their complete lifetime and taking responsibility for restoration and recycling!
